Azeez Afeez, born in Lagos, Nigeria, in the early 1990s, is a contemporary artist known for his expressive figurative compositions. His work is distinguished by dynamic, textured backgrounds that often resemble fractured surfaces, evoking the roughness of crumbling walls.
Afeez’s unique style is defined by human figures rendered through fragmented, interwoven lines and intricate skin patterns, layered with textures that imbue his subjects with individuality and cultural symbolism.
